TEAM2 (Technologies de l'Environnement Appliquées aux Matières et Matériaux) is a french competitiveness cluster dedicated entirely to innovation to deploy circular economy principles to accelerate the ecological transition and limit our environmental impacts.
Its strategy is based on three pillars:
Supporting the transformation of our economic models and new consumption patterns, and developing social cohesion.
Increasing the efficiency of resource use (metals, organics, and minerals) through reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling.
Developing innovative circular economy loops and demonstrators in the regions to measure the environmental, economic, and societal impacts of deploying circular economy principles.
TEAM2 aims to contribute to the implementation of an agile model by working cross-functionally and anticipating long-term changes by considering the end user and regional planning.
Through their support efforts for their members and the numerous innovative project certifications awarded by the cluster, which have enabled them to secure funding, TEAM2 aims to optimize the recycling of minerals (sediments, construction waste, industrial by-products) for low-carbon solutions for regional renewal.
TEAM2 also helps identify various clients and stakeholders in the circular economy likely to use the project's results. The cluster works closely with organizations such as the French Building Federation and the eco-organizations responsible for the implementation of the EPR (Environmental Renewable Energy) for buildings by May 1, 2023.
